The Wedding.
This week, preparing for my sister's wedding, being around my parents and Ali's new in-laws,
being away from the man I love, seeing couples everywhere on the beach,
I have done a lot of thinking about relationships.
What makes them work, what gives them life.
One thing that amazes me is that when you are in love you are able to see the details
of someone that no one else notices. You are able to work with someone in a way that you
normally wouldn't take the time to.
I see that in Ali and Brett. I really do.
The way they are independent and yet together. The way she smiles when he says something stupid. The way he listens when she calls him hunny.
Congratulations Ali and Brett. Make the vows and the love last a lifetime.
