I recall, not too long ago, telling a certain someone (*cough* Anna) that I wouldn't get addicted to a specific online game.

Well.

I spoke too soon.

It's tragically sad to me that today was the first snow of the year and my first sub job, a great day at work and a baby shower for my cousin's new little butt-chinned boy Isaac... and the photo I have to show for it all is one of my Family Feud facebook screen.
But - I guess ya can't catch it all.

October 26th

Today was one of those days...
One of those... grab your laptop and a book and a friend...
And sit tight together at a coffee shop... days.
While you watch the wind and the rain and the world swirl by.

It was one of those days where you finally get to head back to work in the afternoon after a five day weekend... : )

It was one of those days where you get called for an interview for Friday morning!

And... it was one of those nights, where you are up late... and decide to open the substitute teacher portal and swipe up a middle school art class sub job for tomorrow morning!

It was one of those days...
Where outside things are howling and pounding... and nature is screaming...
But inside, things seem just fine.

According to my mom, I have a 'heckufalotta' shoes (which simply isn't true) and it's time to put the flops away...
To make more room for the winter collection.
Sad.
But... mothers do know best.
So here are my wonderful, colorful, summery, lovely flip flops sadly cardboard boxed for the upcoming season of atrocity.

It happens.
You go to the store for a pair of earrings [that you don't need]...
And you end up with a couple shirts, two purses, some necklaces, bracelets and earrings.
I'm not proud of it... well, maybe part of it... the part where the most expensive thing I bought was $5.00. That's not too bad :)

I've been waiting MONTHS to start this new journal...
[Because, let's face it, it's gorgeous and unique and wonderful.]
And now that I'm desperately sick of my old one - I'm finally letting myself.
Now... what to write about.
