I made this handsome finger-painting at a college stress-release day
before my senior year finals.
And it's hard to believe that Crown is over a year gone.
And Africa feels like distant past.
It's hard to stomach that it will remain that way for years to come.
I know that beautiful things are unraveling and
it's time to muster up the strength to face the fact that life will never be according to plan.

Time with Victoria.

And you keep doing and doing and doing.
And when you run out of doing then you start thinking.
And thinking and thinking and thinking.
The thinking then necessitates more doing to allieviate the brain and tire the body
until at long last both can come to a sufficient state of rest.

Sometimes I feel like my life is on repeat.

Work work work and then come home to enjoy these meals and these moments where
I make every attempt to slow down and soak it up.
Caesar salad. Cheese tortellini. Cosmopolitan Mixers.
Followed by a movie. (And two loads of laundry).

And out of all of it... he is the highlight!
