My McDonald's McGeek.
My favorite brother in the whole world.
Here's the story.
Drive through:
Ryan: "What can I get for you?"
David: "Can I get a hot Ryan please."
Ryan: "Sure, how many would you like?"
David: "Well there's only one in this world so..."
Ryan: "Alrite, I can do that. What else would you like?"
David: "Two medium caramel frappes please. With a Knight's card"
Ryan: "That'll be $3.09 at the first window."

April 29th

Garage sale prep.
After my first 4 day/40 hour work week with preschool kids,
and after several hours of pricing garage sale stuff tonight for next weekend's sale,
I feel pretty accomplished.
Though not completely organized, with so many events coming up on the horizon,
I feel ready to get things together and give the month of May some serious energy and attitude.

April 29th

The sun finally broke out today and I stopped to look
at blooming flowers in the woods and spring blossoms on the trees
after David and I practiced some disc golf in the backyard after work.
A breath of fresh air.

April 27th

Evening footprints in green grasses.

April 26th

Hmm... Picture of the day just got a lot harder.
When you work 10 hours a day at a place where you cannot take pictures...
You might be tempted to borrow a picture... from another day.
And in doing so for the first time... you might feel like a failure...
But you're not. You're just tired. And your creativity has been drained.
And chances are you don't have many words left either.
But... alas, at least you have a picture.

April 25th

Yeah, it's true we have a calendar together and we haven't even been together 6 months.
But I have the deepest sense that we are created to manage and handle and care for each other forever. And I never want to downplay that awareness.
He understands me in ways that I hoped he would never have to.
And on down days like this, it's so necessary to be understood.

Rolling down grassy hills under sunny skies with Easter clothes and childish grins!

Sun sets on the horizon.
Papaya salad is on my plate.
David is in my house.
Life is good.

April 22nd

So many of my favorites in one night!!
Becca, Trader Joe, and Victoria!
Felt so good to talk and laugh together again.
I don't think there will ever be a living situation like ours from last spring.
I miss it all the time.

It is finished. Last day at Trinity and the Club.
Cleaned out my cubby. Cleaned out my locker.
Said my good-byes.
I wish I could say it's bittersweet... but it's mostly just sweet.

I spent my Friday morning with this little buttercup.
And I tried to appreciate all the wonderful aspects of being with a baby
considering I only have a week and a half left of this Infant Teacher duty.
